About

Hi, 

I am Annie, craft teacher and yarn enthusiast in the capital of the Scottish Highlands, Inverness.

 I am a self taught crafter with a particular love for fiber based crafts. I studied Art and Design for 5 years at UHI, covering Contemporary Art Practice and finishing with a degree in Fine Art. During my studies I was involved with a local community arts venue, where I did a summer placement as a Community Arts Worker Assistant. I gained lots of insight and knowledge of organising and teaching art and craft classes, workshops and community art events.

    I have been crocheting since 2012 (ish) and teaching since 2017. I love getting folk hooked on to crochet and hearing about how the craft benefits them in some way. It is a an honor to see someone leave with a big smile on their face and feeling accomplished, knowing you helped them along the way. 

I am always building on my knowledge and skills to be able to offer more to creative workshops to my community. Currently I provide crochet classes and macrame workshops in Inverness.
